Stories by Natalie

Here are two stories that Natalie made up (with very little help). She wanted to write them down so now I will share with you.

1. If you give a pig a bubble she will squeal. And squaeling will remind her of her baby doll. So she will want to play dress up. Olivia, the pig, will be Belle and the baby doll will be the Beast. Playing Beauty and the Beast will remind her of singing and dancing and she will want some music to listen to. So the Beast will play the beyboard. Dancing to the music will remind her of dancing through the bubbles so she'll ask you for more bubbles.    (natalie's knock off of the if you give a pig a pancake book)

2. One day Ariel went for a swim. She swam to the surface to look for Prince Eric. She didn't see him so she stuck her fish tail out of the water and swam home. Sebastian told King Triton that Ariel was sticking her fish tail out of the water. King Triton was kinda sad so he swam to Ariel. King Triton told Ariel it was dangerous to swim to the surface so don't do it again. Ariel didn't listen to her daddy. The next day, Ariel went to the surface and saw a ship. She got too close and the ship bumped her fishtail. She got scared. She swam home very fast. She decided her daddy was smart so she would listen to him and stay away from the surface.

Not Me!

I've seen this kind of posts before where you claim you would never do something that you actually did do.  So here's mine...

I would never be so enthralled with my new blog that I would forget to put my child to bed. I would not have gotten her ready and then told her she play for a few minutes and then not go back to tell her it was time to go to bed.. at least not for an hour. I would never find this child asleep on the floor after putting her dolls to bed.

Memorable Valentine's Day

As the day approaches that reminds us to tell each other I love you, I thought I'd share a favorite memory or two about past valentine's days.
One of favorite's valentine's day was when I was around 15, I wasn't driving by myself yet. My dad dropped me and my best friend, Lizi, off at the movies where we meet some friends. I don't even remember what movie it was that we saw, that wasn't the memorable part anyway. The best part was that my dad took Lizi and I to the Red Robin restaurant (i think that was the name) and we got this huge chocolate dessert. And that dessert wasn't even that best part either although it do remember it. The best part that I remember was having a good time with my dad and my best friend. Nothing was ackward, it was just nice and easy. At that time in my life I really thought my dad relished embarassing me. Throughout my life my relationship with my dad has been great and then boom! somthing happens and it all blows up. And that time it was great.

Something else I want to share is a poem Josh wrote to me. This wasn't for a valentine's day but it's sweet and might inspire someone else. Please don't harp on him about it because I want more in the future :)

Inspired by you

Upon those lips I've kissed a countless time,
Hang the songs that bring forth countless rhyme,
Inside those eyes I see, a passioin tto show,
From a deeper place, such an untamed glow,
Within those dreams I find, a peace found by you,
Brought to life, embraced in wonder anew,
Closer to those memories, heaven itself bestow,
As you watch me, fading into your soul,
My Most Intimate Friend

And the washer is empty...

Hi everyone :)  Although I don't know who will be reading this to start with but welcome to my newest project. I decided that I enjoy reading everyone else's blog so there might be someone who would enjoy mine. Also my mom even has a blog so I need to get with it.

This blog will be a be a little about this and about that. Just kinda got to go with the flow and see what becomes of this. So here's to entering into the blogging world and finding out more about each other and myself.

So it's superbowl sunday- not a big thing in this household but I'm waiting to watch Glee now. I'm a Gleek and that's my confession of the day.
